I believe that once max health builds get nerfed, or enough traits are introduced to counter them, you'll see the same type of balance that you saw previously in S3, except in this case there's more variables to allow "micro-refinements" to take place due to the added trait slot. In Siralim Ultimate its more like: i can do it all at the same time so there is no point changing builds.Ī shame others are downvoting you: some people don't like well-justified criticism.įusing in a way can also increase the difficulty, since with realm instability, enemies get it, increasing the likelihood that the enemy gets a trait that can shut your team down (assuming your team actually does have a weakness, which I'm near positive is an end-state that Thylacine is working heavily towards), and virtually no player is going to have the patience to inspect every enemy and see what extra traits they have in order to react to it, either. The fact that each unit can be a one-stop-show for a specific mechanic takes away much of the fun of compromise i.e. Just looking for discussions and opinions.Įdit: review of the reddit page shows that most people come to the same OP built endgame: buffer, debuffer, statsup, statsdown, tank, and DPS. PVP would come down to whos spells/attacks proc first, then 1HKO everything i.e. Is this because im not deep enough? or is it upcoming? I feel the Tavern wouldn't work in this game as combos are so busted in Ultimate. No Tavern in Siralim Ultimate (to my knowledge). Yes, I understand its a grinding game, but the random element was such a thrill.

But now there is no RNG aspect to crafting, just resource grinding. when you hit that perfect roll of mods: you felt amazing. I personally feel like Fusing pushes the game to be too fast paced and overpowered. so coming up with a good team was more rewarding, required more planning and showed you had a real understanding of the game and its mechanics.

However, in Siralim 3, it was harder to come up with SUCH synergy so easily. Ive had the same team from mid story game to level 130, with no need for any micro optimizations. The fusing mechanic allows really early combos that overwhelm all enemies. I have played both 3 and Ultimate for about 30 hours each and am now questioning the depth that Ultimate has due to the fusing mechanic. However, I am eager to hear what you guys think.
